Archer Nursery School was founded in 1964 as a non-profit, non-sectarian organization. The school is licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Human Services and meets State standards in staff, facilities and program.

A professional staff is employed by the school to develop and execute the curriculum/program. A teacher and an assistant teacher, as well as a family member of an Archer student who opted to participate in the Cooperative experience, are with the children in each class. Archer staff, along with participating Cooperative family members, have all successfully completed a state mandated, criminal background check, along with fingerprinting, to insure and maintain excellent safety standards. All other business is transacted by the Executive Board, which is elected or appointed from the membership of the Nursery School. Our Constitution and By-Laws provide the guidelines for our operation.
